That checkmark works just as well in 2016 as it did in 1964.<\/li>\n \t<li><b>Appropriate for the brand.<\/b> Nike associates itself with tough athletics, professional athletes, and cutting edge sports technology, so the slick checkmark is a perfect fit. Picking up on the logo trends of home staging businesses with which you\u2019ll be competing will help you decide how to stand out.<\/li>\n \t<li><b>Things you like.<\/b> Maybe you find yourself gravitating towards simple script fonts, or maybe you like logos that incorporate clean lines and angles. There\u2019s nothing wrong with \u201cborrowing\u201d a few small ideas from your competition, as long as you make them your own.<\/li>\n \t<li><b>Things you can\u2019t stand.<\/b> Do 3-D effects make you cringe? Are you yawning at the sight of yet another minimalist house silhouette? Picking out what you don\u2019t like is just as important as picking out what you do.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nDon\u2019t limit yourself to other home stagers and interior decorators, either. Paint brands, home d\u00e9cor brands, and furniture suppliers are marketing pros with huge teams behind their logos, product design, and branding. A good logo has to be simple, but the design process is a lot more complicated! Many new business owners write off a graphic designer\u2019s services as unnecessary, but that\u2019s a big mistake. Professional graphic designers help you create professional logos. They also have a good eye for versatility.
