1. Commit to Your Color Consultant Course and Make the Time

Now that you’ve made this very big and exciting decision to move forward, it’s important to commit to doing the coursework. Recognize that this course is a huge step in increasing your career potential, income, clientele, marketing, and most importantly, your overall skill set. Arrange your schedule in such a way that will allow you to truly focus on the assignments, be able to dive into each assignment, and give it your full attention.
For some of you, this might mean setting time aside first thing in the morning or last thing at night (depending on when you focus the best). Do what works for you and keep your eye on the goal! Your future self will thank you!
2. Elaborate on Assignments
One of the best things you can do on each of your assignments is elaborate on your answers. One-sentence-answers make it difficult for your tutor to truly know if you’re grasping the material. Honestly, it can also read as you being unmotivated.
You have already committed to the process of receiving priceless business training. So, why not take the time to really jump in and enjoy the opportunity? You have the chance to learn and expand your skills through a carefully designed curriculum. Your course and its assignments are meant to challenge you, and offer the very best opportunity to become a talented color consultant and designer.
Your tutor wants to hear your feedback on each assignment question, as well as how you’ve arrived at each solution and answer.
3. Check Your Work Twice
Many times, a tutor has to unfortunately return an assignment because links are missing, answers are left blank, or photos are not uploaded correctly. This not only wastes time for both the student and their tutor – it prevents students from completing their coursework in a timely way.
Always double check your assignments to be sure everything has been uploaded correctly. This will help ensure that your tutor can grade and submit your unit back to you faster. It’s also helpful – and encouraged – to not duplicate pins on different assignments.
4. Be True to Your Unique Color Consultant Style
As a color consultant student, it’s important to remain true to your unique style. This includes you color preferences and way of designing.
